Thanks to Jeff and Michelle for an entertaining evening in East Nashville.
My family and I went to visit younger sis Saturday night in her new home . We ate at Italia restaurant on Woodland. The food was very good, and the hustle of carryouts from this brand new place was entertaining.
Before the meal, we visited the Art and Invention gallery in the Five Points District. A big old thank you to Meg for staying open late to allow us to look around. I would suggest a stop in there if you are in town. Pretty creative stuff.

Today we lost a member of the family. Our 15 year old English Bulldog , Cagney . No matter how much you expect it to happen , you never seem ready when it does. We were told by the vet about a month ago that Bulldogs just don't live that long ( 8 - 13 years is the norm) and it was inevitable that her day was near. As much as we understood that it still wasn't easy to say goodbye. She was a good ol' girl and will be greatly missed . Here's to you Ol' Cag.
