Today we lost a member of the family. Our 15 year old English Bulldog , Cagney . No matter how much you expect it to happen , you never seem ready when it does. We were told by the vet about a month ago that Bulldogs just don't live that long ( 8 - 13 years is the norm) and it was inevitable that her day was near. As much as we understood that it still wasn't easy to say goodbye. She was a good ol' girl and will be greatly missed . Here's to you Ol' Cag.

Yes, she was Grandmas dog. If I'm remembering correctly, She was bought by a nephew for $3000 to be bred. Well, she wouldn't allow it and artificial means never took. She was given to Kim's mom at 2 years old.They had her for 10 years . After she died Cagney went to Tommy and her last year and a half was with us. Gr8 dog ! Kim always said Cag had a crush on me.ha ha .
that's really sweet...but so sad she's gone. life's just too short.
